Ten years of snakes, swerve drives, and shenanigans but all good things must come to an end. We all had a blast reminiscing with both past and current members, and although Apophis won't be back next year we know its silly spirit lives on in all our hearts.

Competing in front of a crowd of 50,000 people, the Aurora robotics team showed off its skills recently at the world’s competition in Houston.

Team 5006 is going to worlds! 🎉

We are so honored to have made it to the Finals at the Green Country regional as the Alliance Captain with our friends 4646 and 3160 FIRST Robotics Organization of Grove, FROG. Our alliance was definitely the snazziest of them all, with all three robots sporting our signature "googly eyes"

Our team also won the Industrial Design award for our precision machined robot and countless custom components, including custom student-designed (and built) circuit boards.

We won the judge’s "Perseverance Under Pressure" award last weekend at the FRC World Championship.

This is the same robot that we uncovered in the rubble of the tornado just 2 weeks ago. The courage and perseverance shown by each of our members has been beautiful to see.

Three days ago, we thought we'd lost everything we'd worked so hard for. We weren't even sure if we'd be able to make it to the AR Regional. Yesterday, we won Engineering Inspiration, reminding us what our team has always been about, having fun while helping others. Despite our own struggles, we were able to help multiple teams get their robots working. Even though our robot is still a bit rusty, knowing that we helped other teams succeed is better than any trophy.

We can't begin to describe the emotions of the past few days. Such incredible loss and devastation met with so much love and compassion from our community. Luckily, we were able to salvage more than we'd hoped, and with the money donated we can replace what we couldn't. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for coming together to show us such kindness, and guys, we finally got our water game!
