Courage partners with local human services agencies to reach families in need. These services would not be available without support from our community. We joined hubofhopenwa for Give a Mile or More today in 👟 Nothing says wellness stop like a little horse power! Hub of Hope is a local non profit that helps victims of s*x trafficking and provides education to reduce it. Many people don’t understand trafficking or that it happens here, in our community. Raising awareness and supporting local organizations with this mission have always been near and dear to our hearts. Give them a follow! And stay tuned for our next adventure! 🐴

Co-Regulation- An embodied presence of togetherness; being with others in a meaningful way to help balance and recharge the sensory system and bodymind.

One of the most wonderful things about the human equine relationship is that it is largely non verbal. For our clients that communicate differently than the most other people, it can feel relieving and even regulating to drop any expectation; relating the best way they know how and being accepted.

For those wondering, the horse permits the action profoundly. In this instance, she is not tied down or held tightly, allowing her to enter a parasympathetic state and naturally respond to the client. They both closed their eyes, breathed together, and experienced the stillness for as long as he needed. He thanked her by brushing her back and scratching the places she loved itched most.
