A couple of exceptions to the open hours for the Clothing Closet over the next few weeks.....

First one is tomorrow (Tuesday, September 1).... we will be closing at 6PM (instead of 7pm)!!!

For those commenting on the shoe post, here is a perspective from a volunteer at Goodwill on shoe donations.

It was not the intent to shame anyone, but instead to ask for a little bit of pre-work before donating shoes.

Shoes like the one in the previous post can easily be dropped in the washing machine before donating them. Mud (and other stuff) should be cleaned off the bottom of shoes. If they have been sitting in your porch for a bit, dust them off or give them a quick wipe with a damp cloth.

Like the Goodwill article, we attempt to provide a good experience for our shoppers.... we will not put out something that is not in good shape, smells nice and can last thru several more months of use.

Items (or monetary donations) can be dropped off during our open times or at Mindham Barbershop (just across Jefferson Street from us)!

If you are looking to help support our back-to-school drive, here is a great deal on good backpacks!!!! Purchase the backpack at Big Box Liquidation and we will drop by to pick them up!!!!

Backpacks starting at just $5.00!! We also have some nicer ones for 15 and 20, which retailed for 30 and 40! Open 7 days a week. 9-3 on the weekends!

In past years, we have had the funding and donations to be able to offer backpacks and school supplies to the surrounding communities..... Unfortunately, this year we are not going to be able to offer the same support.

For those attending PCM School District and need help with back-to-school supplies, please send us a direct message!

It’s sad that I need to post that someone came into the clothing closet (even though we were NOT open) and decided to take chords and stuff that were in boxes marked Do Not Take. (This box was full with at least five extension cords)

It is sad that people need to be babysit and cannot be trusted!!!
