The Story of The Love Declaration

My name in this life is David, and I was inspired to write The Love Declaration in 1986, and I have been sharing it--one on one and personally--with thousands of people ever since...with the intention that it will be of good benefit to each of us personally, and to the Oneness/Allness. As I share it, I also continue my own very imperfect journey of learning to be fully aligned with it. I understand that given the conditioning of this world upon our minds, that the possibility that The Love Declaration is speaking about is usually viewed as ‘nearly impossible’ to accomplish, yet I also understand that whatever effort or intention any of us can contribute with our lives and our actions to being more deeply compassionate and loving COUNTS as a win for Love. Therefore, as the Love Declaration Mission Statement declares, “regardless of any failures to actually be it”, The Love Declaration stands for an eternally valid Possibility.

In a way, I’ve come to believe that The Love Declaration is like a ‘one-lifetime’ Bodhisattva vow... as it is a promise to use THIS lifetime to live as lovingly as possible. I am also always available by your invitation to participate in or lead workshops, or perform concerts of my original music as a singer/songwriter/guitarist & pianist, or appear before your group as a speaker if you are inspired to invite me. I pray that in time the dharma of this Declaration will be for it to be translated and shared much more widely throughout this world. In the meantime, thank you for your commitment to being, one day at a time, the Love that you actually are.
