Prague Community Garden The goal of the garden is to provide the people of Prague with a place where they can have access to The food grown in this garden is free to anyone.

The Prague, Oklahoma Community Garden is located just north of the Prague First Baptist Church. It is maintained by volunteers with a passion for community health. The goal is to provide all walks of life with access to healthy foods. We just ask that if you pick a food, you pull a w**d.

We are planning on digging the potatoes Wednesday May 13th. If you want some fresh potatoes you will be able to have some if you come by the garden. We will start digging around 8:00 am.

There is some leaf lettuce that is ready to be picked. Remember to gently tear the leafs off and don’t pull the plants out of the ground. The head lettuce or iceberg lettuce we have planted is not ready. If you gently tear the leaf lettuce off it will continue to grow until it gets hot this summer.

There are a lot of tomatoes in the garden . I will start tearing down the garden for the year after November 2. Come get some tomatoes and okra before it is gone.
