This Sunday, the Trek Across Maine Gravel Ride will come through North Pownal from 10am - 12pm with a rest stop planned with us at 851 Lawrence Rd. Planning to come cheer on the riders? Please park behind our building prior to the race for rider safety and to help keep road traffic to a minimum.

This professionally timed event starts and finishes at Pineland Farms and concludes with a celebratory lunch for all participants. While there are no awards, you'll earn something even better—bragging rights and an official finish time on a beautiful Maine gravel course!

• $65 Day-Of Registration

🎗️ All participants are also asked to meet a $100 minimum fundraising commitment to support the American Lung Association's mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.

Volunteer Opportunity Alert!!

Join us and the Rotary Club of Freeport Maine this Saturday, May 23, from 9am to 12pm for Volunteer Clean Up Day.

North Pownal Community Outreach Center
851 Lawrence Road

Spring is finally here and we’re ready to tackle some outdoor projects! If you’re looking for to get involved with the NPCOC, need some volunteer service hours, or just enjoy working outside with new friends, we’d love to see you.
Tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own (clearly labeled) tools.

Projects may include (depending on weather, etc.):

*Scraping/painting the exterior walls, ramp, rear deck, and stairs.
*Tear down the schoolhouse deck, replace with new.
*Clear the land of branches, brush, and stones.
*Pruning, trimming, etc.
*Clearing away winter sand.

Coffee and refreshments will be served.

All are welcome!
