Several members of NH NFC spent the day efishing a tributary to the Beebe River with NHFG. Surveys have been occurring throughout this system on an annual basis for many years. Culverts have been replaced, genetics have been analyzed and long term population trends have been documented.

As a result of NHFG’s proposed rules earlier this year. NFC went through the allowed baitfish list for the state and found several concerns. As a result of this, NHFG is planning on making changes to the allowed baitfish.

Removing nonnative and limited range species from New Hampshire’s legal to use list would be a step in the right direction…
