Hello C.O.P Youth On Fire:

I pray you are doing well. You are missed. In talking to so many of you, you've shared the norm is being bored and having a lot of school work. While I know this is a tremendous challenge, Remember you are not alone and all the work will pay off. Staying home is very necessary for you, your family as well as others. Staying home can be a blessing if you will change the way you're thinking about it.
You've also shared some real concerns about this pandemic. I am praying for u I want to leave you with some encouragement to help keep standing strong.

Do you remember reading Proverbs 3:5-6? It says to trust in the Lord with all thine heart and to lean not unto your own understanding. But in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. It seems you were doing okay until.......But nothing has made you more uneasy than the present pandemic. You try hard to trust God with your whole heart, but sometimes, like Peter, the wind and the waves become huge. You're trying to keep your eyes on the Lord, but you feel shaken. God want you to let him know how you feel. Tell Him what is going on in your lives.You can tell Him how you're feeling. He is concerned about anything that concerns you.

Don't lose your focus by being so distracted by all the things that can never really give you strength, hope and peace. Psalm 56: says: When I am afraid, I will trust in you. So run to the Lord

I live this version. Proberbs 3:5-6 Message Bilble - 5 Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. 6 Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he's the one who will keep you on track.

God will give you peace. Did you know the enemy will try to discourage you especially when you have made the decision to trust God even though there is uncertainty around you?
But the enemy won't win if you will trust the Lord.

I want you to remember "God is ALWAYS your source of protection, strength and peace during unknown/ uncertain times".
He is for you. And when he is for you no one can be agaist you.

When you talk with Lord, that's what prayer is - talking ask Him to help you trust Him and give you His peace. Then thank Him for helping you.

This is Word of the Lord at The New City of Praise for us and for you from Isaiah 43:19 NLT. God speaks saying:

"For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland".

He is doing something new in you. You serve a great God. Let the "Great God" by His Holy Spirit soar in you. There is a greater love, great boldness and greater hunger for Him rising on the inside of you. Everything you do is important. With that said, know this: your time praying, reading God's word and doing what is right is not wasted. He sees you. He hears you. He's answering you. Listen closely and you'll hear Him say: Do not be afraid of what's happening all around you.You are the apple of my eye. I love you. I've e got you.
