New Chief Operations Officer: We are excited to announce that Dan Meeks now serves as COO of The 3rd and Goal Foundation. Dan comes to the foundation after a successful eight year career with the USO of Central & Southern Ohio where he served as Executive Director. Prior to joining USO, Dan was Operations Manager and later Marketing Manager during his 20 years at CompuServe, Inc. In addition to managing the day-to-day activities of the foundation, Dan will take part in with all aspects of the foundation to include strategic planning, fund raising and event planning. Dan is an Air Force veteran and served a tour in Vietnam. He attended Capital University and earned a BS in Business Administration from Franklin University.

3rd & Goal is excited to partner with Embrace the First Step www.embracethefirststep.org They are currently looking for a few good men or women to make a difference in peoples lives by climbing Mt. Rainier mid July 2016. The goal is to help raise money for 8 great non-profits. You will be part of the Embrace the First Step fundraising team, which is hosting 7 other fun filled events to bring in more donations to benefit the CAVS concept...charities that help out Children, Animals, Veterans, and Seniors. With the climb being the main event, the other 7 are: Meet and greet team dinner, March madness happy hour, Volunteer to help or participate in a fitness challenge, Bike race, Softball home run derby, Golf long drive contest, and a golf outing and send off dinner. Dates for these events will be finalized after team is assembled. Need to reach Mike Roderick at 614-579-3966 by Labor Day weekend for reserving a spot.
