Post elections were held last night. All the officers stay the same. Hope some of you who do read these posts will begin to attend meetings. We need you and your input.

Legion birthday is coming up. The Auxiliary is hostessing the annual birthday party on Friday March 13th at 6:00 p.m. The Auxiliary is furnishing meat, members are asked to bring a salad or dessert. Hope many of you can make it. We are also starting a "work" meeting on the 3rd Tues of each month till much of the cosmetic changes are done. Come help out if you can. No formal meeting...just work.

The Homesteader Museum Board members are NOT the ones who asked the commissioners for our property and building. It seems it was the COUNTY Museum Board. Either way, we are ready to see how this pans out. Thanks to all for your support of our Post. It is so appreciated.

Monday May 31st we will once again display the Avenue of Flags at Crown Hill. Anyone able to help, please come out at 6 am to put the flags up and 6 pm to take them in. All help is appreciated. It is an honorable way to spend some time in remembrance of those veterans buried in Crown Hill. The program will be at 10 am. Please attend if you can.
