WEALTH WEDNESDAY: 2 BEDROOM VS. 3 BEDROOM

If you're buying a home with resale value in mind, should you choose a 2-bedroom or 3-bedroom?

In many markets, a 3-bedroom home may offer stronger resale potential because it can appeal to a larger group of future buyers.

Think about it. A third bedroom can serve as:

• A child's bedroom
• A guest room
• A home office
• A workout space
• A room for a parent or family member

That extra flexibility can make the property attractive to more buyers when it's time to sell.

But bedroom count isn't everything. Location, condition, square footage, lot size, neighborhood demand, comparable sales, and the home's overall layout can have a major impact on resale value.

That's why I encourage my buyers to think beyond, "Do I like this house?"

Ask yourself, "If I needed to sell this home in a few years, would other buyers want it too?"

Buy for today, but keep tomorrow in mind.

Today, I attended the Faithful Practice class hosted by Ebony Vaughan (Nexus Wellness Group), and it was enlightening.

The training was filled with practical exercises that helped me better understand my responsibility when supporting people through ministry, encouraging my clients, and caring for family members.

One message stood out to me: You do not need a license to care for others. However, caring for people well requires wisdom, healthy boundaries, accountability, and an understanding of your limitations.

Thank you, Ebony, for hosting Faithful Practice: Ethics, Bias & Biblical Integration in Counseling. This class gave me practical knowledge that I can apply in every area where I serve and support others.

Many people avoid looking at their bank accounts because they're afraid of what they'll see.

But avoiding reality doesn't change reality.
Ownership begins with honesty.
