/ SCAA president San Miller and director of exhibits and artist development Levar Robinson (upper right) attended the "Living Legends" seniors brunch today where San received the 2026 City of Mableton Living Legends Award as "Arts Advocate, Community Connector and Cultural Champion." Also receiving the Living Legends Award was retired educator Betty Ann Cook (lower right). /The Avenue West Cobb - In addition to South Cobb Arts Alliance 's national juried art competition, the spacious facility will also be hosting a student art competition featuring artworks by students from several Cobb County schools. Shown here (from left) are "Untitled #28" by Yeshua Martinez and "Banned Books" by Sydney Jackson, both students at McEachern High School. Students from Georgia middle schools and high schools can submit art entries through June 30. There is no fee for student registration in the student competition. /The Avenue West Cobb - In addition to South Cobb Arts Alliance's national juried art competition, the spacious facility will also be hosting a student art competition featuring artworks by students from several Cobb County schools. Shown here (clockwise from left) are paintings by Whitefield Academy students Haley Holland, Taylor Jenn, and Benjamin Griffin.
