Troop 479 of Poway Troop 479 is a member of the San Diego - Imperial Council's Black Mountain District.

We are an active group engaging in backpacking, hiking and other great family-friendly activities. Please come join us on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm and see what makes our troop a great place to be!

When these Los Angeles Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA members showed up for their meeting, they got a special surprise: a visit from Los Angeles Lakers guard – and Eagle Scout – Josh Hart. The 24-year-old – who won a national championship in college at Villanova – spoke with the guys about his own experience in Scouting and took the time for photographs as well.
