It is with heavy hearts that we extend our deepest sympathy to the family and loved ones of one of the founding members of our Ambulance Service, Ann Wardecke.

Her dedication to helping others and to building a service that has cared for our community will always be remembered and appreciated. We are grateful for the foundation she helped create and the legacy she leaves behind.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the many lives she touched and the difference she made in our community.

Rest in peace Ann ❤️

Last night we teamed up with Brazeau Dive and Brazeau Fire to practice a surface rescue on Lee Lake! The scenario was a boat had capsized with 3 children on it. The worked on dispatching resources, deploying the rescue boat, the banana boat (as I call it) which is a rapid deployment rescue boat, lifting patients out of the water safely and life saving skills from our Ambulance crew. It was a great training and a little fun was had! Thank you to Angie and Pat Algrim’s children for volunteering as victims along with Paige Tuell!
