This week Stone Valley Arts:

SVA dance classes are every Monday and Wednesday evening. Walk-ins welcome. $15 per class. Or $52 per four week session. Free open house class for new students the first Monday and Wednesday of each month.

Thursday, June 18 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Essentrics Stretch and Strength with Diane; bring a mat and water. The cost is $10.

Saturday, June 20 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM: Cool Compost and Wiggly Worms: Classes are geared toward children ages 2-8, but no interested child will be turned away. $15/class if pre-registered, $20 drop-in. Use [email protected] to preregister.

Sunday, June 21 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Make Music Vermont! !n participation with the Make Music Vermont day, The Stone Valley Arts Center's community jam will be on the June 21 rather than the normally the second Sunday of the month.

The second week of June brings lots of activities and classes to SVA!

Monday (at 5pm) and Wednesday (at 5:30pm): Ballroom Dancing with Patti: Two-Step on Monday, Tango and Swing on Wed.

Tuesday, June 9, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Ballet Class with Jessica. Drop in fee of $20/class per person. Scholarships available.

Thursday, June 11, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Essentrics Stretch and Strength with Diane. Bring a mat and water. The cost is $10.

NEW ! Join us on the first Thursday of every month for a relaxed still-life drawing session. Stay for the full two hours or drop in for part of the time. Admission is free, with donations appreciated.

What a great way to kick off Jazz Cafe for the season with Gary on piano, Ron on bass and Nick on drums! We'd hope to see you in July for the next Jazz Cafe.
We'd also like to thank Bob Williams and the Poultney United Fund for their donation of $500 to Stone Valley Arts!

We are welcoming June with a busy week at SVA!

NEW!! Wednesday, June 3 7:00 PM - 8:15 PM: An Intimate Night of Jazz. The Jazz Cafe at Stone Valley Arts is back and we’re excited to feature a wonderful piano/bass/trio with Ron White on bass, Nick Aloi on drums and Gary Schmidt on piano.

Thursday, June 4, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Move with Diane: Essentrics Stretch and Strength

NEW!! Thursday, June 4, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Drop in Drawing: Looking for a creative pause? Join us at SVA on the first Thursday of each month, beginning in June, for a relaxed still-life drawing session. Admission is free, with donations appreciated.

Saturday and Sunday, June 6/7, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Last chance to see the Artist Member Show! This year’s artist members’ show includes 22 talented artists from around the state who represent a variety of media including painting, photography, pottery, collage, and mixed media. Viewers will see a variety of subject matter from the abstract to serious and whimsical, to wildflowers, landscapes, collages and portraits.

This Wed: Join Patti Panebianco to learn ballroom dance from swing to fox trot. Classes start on Mondays at 5pm and Wednesdays at 5:30pm.
