Our International travelers are back from their incredible adventures in Canada. An amazing time was had by all. Here are some photos from the trip.

Young at Heart has a great opportunity available to join our Executive Board and serve as Treasurer. The position will be available in October. Please see below for more information. If you'd like to be considered, please call The Young at Heart Senior Center at 802-287-9200 and ask for Anne or Carol.
The position will be voted upon during annual election to be held on October 19 at 10ahere at The Young at Heart.

Time commitment is roughly 6 hours per month.
Treasurer Position Duties include:
• Count monies and preparing deposits
• Make deposits at Heritage Family Credit Union
• Pay bills (typically by check) - ~ 2-3 times per month
• Balance bank statements using Quick books
• Pull a P&L Statement monthly, share copies and report any
anomalies during the monthly Board meeting
• Attend monthly Board Meeting –
3rd Monday of each month - 10a start
• Secure Cash Start Up for any fundraisers (i.e. Tea cup Raffle,
Basket Raffle, etc)

Just a Reminder:
No Chair Yoga this Friday, 9/11, due to the Community Health Day event (put on by Southern Vermont Council on Aging) going on that day here at the Young at Heart Senior Center.
Chair Yoga will be back to the regular schedule on 9/18 at 1p.

Volunteer opportunities at YaH Senior Center!!

We are grateful to every single volunteer who makes time to contribute to all of the successes here at the center. If you have some time to share, we would welcome you to give the center a call or stop in and chat with Anne or Carol (phone: 802-287-9200). Specific needs include(not limited):

- Permanent driver for Meals on Wheels on Thursdays at 10:30 (1.5-2 hrs)
- Meals on Wheels Substitue driver (occasional - day would vary)
- Kitchen/dining room support

Please consider donating your time to an amazing facility and a very special group of people.
