Halloween Ride at Night Owl 10/25, decorating 10/19

Hello Old Vikes and Friends,

We need your help with decorating the trails on 10/19 at 10am

Break out those costumes and lights, this year's Halloween ride is a partnership between Night Owl and the Vikes, registration required. We are raising money for local foster kids. The ride will be at the Night Owl trails and there will be a swap meet before the ride and a potluck after.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
5:30 pm - Gather & Setup for Bike/Parts Swap
6:00 pm - Swap Meet
7:15 pm - Bike ride prep (helmets, bike lights) both mandatory
7:30 pm - Night ride on decorated trails
8:30 pm - Party, Costume Contest, Food, Drinks (non-alcoholic provided; BYOB for alcohol)
10 pm (or so) - Party ends

Join us for our Halloween celebration - costumed bike ride on the trails; parts/bike swap; fundraiser for local foster children.

Session 2 is July 23 - October 25

(Regular bike helmet required. Battle axes, horns and capes not recommended).

***RIDE UPDATE FOR SATURDAY 5/11***
Work Party Saturday May 11th at 9am - 12pm: Start at the "Stumps" / Bayshore trailhead. We will be working on our adopted Hood Trail. We will ride up to the trail. Non-riding parents are also welcome, you can walk up or a few seats in cars might be available. Riders should make sure to bring work gloves, water, and plenty of snacks. 2024 Vikes Sessions are now up on Poulsbo Parks and Rec site! Signups open March 15.

Sessions will be a little different this year. We are trying out 2 slightly longer sessions instead of 3. April 9 to June 29, and July 16 to October 26.
