Ramadan is coming around the corner and is only 80 days away!!!! Ladies, you know what that means... time to make up fasts!

We will be having group make-up fasts starting this Thursday and the MSA will provide suhoor
(yummy pancakes & eggs) at Strong Kitchen around 4am and Iftar if you attend the career panel run by the one and only, lovely Basma!!

Stay tuned for more updates and food covered by us hehe :) pizza on the 16th for iftar 🍕 (halal pepperoni emoji)

Unsure about classes to take next semester as pre-reg II begins? About future plans after Vassar? Come to the MSA’s advice panel where upperclassmen will be talking about experiences in various fields, including pre-med, pre-law, pre-grad, and humanities! Basma and Aqib, our first-year reps, will be hosting the panel at Pratt House at 7pm. Refreshments will be provided (including some yummy tiramisu ☺️)!

Join Professor Wesselhoeft and Saba Ali to an al ma’idah, the table spread, where we lay the table with food, good company and a conversation. We will be meeting at Pratt House on Monday, November 11 @ 5:30 - 7pm.

We will talk about the practical challenges facing Muslim communities today and explore the alternative visions for collective life and solidarity offered by classical Islamic traditions and contemporary Muslim practices from other parts of the world.
