We strive to make a difference through our individual volunteering such as teaching piano, or doing arts and crafts with the Salvation Army after school program or through our long running chess playing and lessons at the Poughkeepsie library. We deliver Meals on Wheels, send kids to Kamp Kiwanis each summer and support area day care centers. We provide scholarships and community service awards to
graduating seniors at area high schools and we run a very successful Catching Kids Caring program where we recognize elementary and middle school students for doing good deeds. We need support and have fundraising through our Rose Day sales, golf tournament and silent auction each year. We obtained two steel beams from the World Trade Center and donated them to the City of Poughkeepsie. A 9/11 memorial park located at City Hall was dedicated on 9/11/15. We are ALWAYS welcoming new members. Come visit us at our breakfast meetings and learn more about our club. Please join us so that we can work together to improve the quality of life in the communities of our Hudson Valley .
