Happy Flashback Friday. This flashback comes to us from a bin in the closet in the black box theatre in Fontaine. It's the spring 2007 Mosaic. It looks to prove to be an interesting relic of LAS history.

Why hello friends. Are you sitting at your keyboard or notebooks with some story in front of you and no idea how to proceed? I know the feeling. Maybe this will help

1. The Heinous F**kery Is Revealed This is the "first turn" of the story: something happens that disrupts the status quo and this event pushes the protagonist (and perhaps the world around him) int...

Expectance, The Destroyer

By: Brendalyn Juarbe

I understand his pain.

Being a man is hard.

You are born with the world expecting the most of you

You now have a family

They need you

You need someone

But this is not as important as your family

Who needs you, your assistance, your time and your unconditional love

It must be tiring

To need but have to put the need of others before your own

You have needed for some time now
But no one has come to fulfil that need

You are tired

But still, the world is expecting, expecting

You feel less of a man if these expectations are not met

You think no one understands you

But trust me

I do

I am the daughter of a man

A man who the world expects the most of

I do not know if it is because I am your spitting image

But you expect from me too

I guess you think I am strong enough so you place these expectations upon me

But I need too

and no one has come to fulfill that need

So now I am cold to the core

And it feels so right

Remember that saying?

“It’s a cold world”

Well maybe they’re right!
