We facilitate the return of vacant, abandoned, and underutilized properties to productive use.

The mission of the Dutchess County-Poughkeepsie Land Bank is to promote equitable and sustainable development through the rehabilitation of vacant, abandoned, and underutilized properties in the County of Dutchess and the City of Poughkeepsie in ways that are guided by ongoing community input, that foster housing that is affordable, that nurture communities of choice and access, and that support economic, environmental and social resilience.

👋Hello Poughkeepsie and Dutchess County!
We are the Dutchess County-Poughkeepsie Land Bank – DCPLB for
short. Officially incorporated in New York State in April 2021, our mission is to promote equitable and sustainable development through the rehabilitation of vacant, abandoned and underutilized properties throughout the city and the county. Specifically, the DCPLB was created to reduce blight, create affordable pathways to homeownership, and support community goals to improve the quality of life for Poughkeepsie and Dutchess County residents.
