Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that TOMORROW is our Passover Cooking Night event!! We will be making matzah pizza and chocolate covered matzah! Also, you will get a priority point for attending. It will be in Upper New H3 (the townhouses next to Hancock) at 8:00pm. If you have night class feel free to come after!

Also don't forget at our meeting next week we will have elections! MU3204, 9:15pm, Tuesday, April 3rd. If you are running for a position check out the previous email for important details!

Please BUY TICKETS for the NYC trip on 4/15 at student activities! Tell your friends!

On April 15th we will be going on our Spring trip to NYC!!!!!

The trip costs $20, which includes admission to the Museum of Jewish Heritage and bus transportation to and from NY.

There will also be free time in the city! We will be near the South Street Seaport District which has a LOT to do. It is a great area to walk around and get lunch with your friends.

Please purchase your ticket from Student Activities quickly as we will be advertising this trip to Jewish Studies classes. Also, please hold on to your receipt! (You will need it as confirmation before coming on the trip.)

Friends from outside of the club are invited as well! We want to fill the bus!

Leaving Marist: Please be at Donnelly Hall at 9:00am (Bus leaves at 9:30).
Returning to Marist: Please meet outside the Museum of Jewish Heritage at 4:30pm (Bus leaves at 5:00) We will arrive back at Marist around 7:00pm.

Purim is tomorrow! Chag Purim Sameach! Our Purim Party Event will be this coming Tuesday, March 6th, at 9:15pm in room MU3204! Hope to see you there - we'll have games, a photobooth, and food! -- Yes, there will be hamentashen!

Additionally, in case you are not on the Campus Ministry mailing list, here is an announcement Rabbi Rena sent today:

"Please join us for a lunch time conversation among Jewish students this Wednesday, February 28th from 1 pm - 2 pm in the Quiet Dining Room.

Students who are on a meal plan, can swipe in and get your lunch, then come into the Quiet Dining Room. If you don't have a meal plan, you are welcome to just come for the conversation. Please enter the dining room on the Cafeteria side, and see Rabbi Rena at the Swipe in desk.

Our next meeting will be this Tuesday, 2/20, at 9:15pm in room MU3204!

This coming Friday will be Marist's first on-campus Shabbat hosted by Rabbi Rena Blumenthal! Both Hillel and Ruach will come together with the Rabbi for prayers at 6pm and Shabbat dinner to follow at 7pm. We will share more details as they are given to us. If you plan to attend, RSVP is required.

Our next event will be a Purim Party on Tuesday, 3/20, at 9:15pm in room MU3204! There will be music, games, a photobooth, and food!
