Dr. Peter has been administering medicine and treatment to the children we support in Uganda. We are thankful for his dedication and for the opportunity to help these kids receive the care they need.

A meal like this may look simple, but to these children, it means a full stomach and one less thing to worry about.

Thanks to your support, these children were able to sit down to a meal of beans and posho. Feeding so many children is a constant need, but food isn't the only basic necessity they need.

Right now, we are needing donations specifically for SOAP. 🧼

Soap is used every single day for bathing, washing clothes, cleaning dishes, and basic sanitation. With this many children, it goes quickly.

Something as simple as a bar of soap can make a real difference.

This sewing machine is already being put to good use! ❤️

What started as a simple gift is becoming an opportunity to learn, create, and grow. The women are putting their sewing skills to work making clothing, and now even the children are getting a chance to sit at the machine and learn how to sew.

These are the kinds of things we love to see. It isn't just about providing something that's needed today. It's about giving them tools and skills they can continue using tomorrow.

And judging by those finished pieces, they're off to a pretty great start! 🧵🪡❤️

🎉 It’s “WINS”DAY! 🎉

This week’s win might look small to us, but it means a lot in a classroom in Uganda. ❤️

Our orphanages received CHALK! 🖍️📚

When resources are limited, even basic classroom supplies can be difficult to keep on hand. Chalk means our teachers can stand in front of a classroom, teach a lesson, work through problems, practice words, and keep these children learning.

These are the kinds of wins we love sharing. Not every need has a huge price tag. Sometimes making a difference looks like putting a simple piece of chalk into a teacher’s hand.

Because of your support, another need was met. 🙌

Food. Medicine. Education. One need at a time.

Because of your support, one of the orphanages we serve now has a sewing machine and table.

What makes this especially meaningful is that one of the women at the orphanage used to be a seamstress. Now she has the opportunity to use those skills again to help care for the children, repair clothing, create needed items, and potentially teach those skills to others.

This is the kind of help we love to provide. Not only meeting an immediate need, but giving people tools they can use to serve, teach, and create opportunities within their own community.

A big thank you to Big Flat Assembly of God for welcoming Ssatu Hearts Foundation this past Sunday and giving us the opportunity to share what God is doing through this mission.

We are incredibly grateful for churches that are willing to listen, pray, encourage us, and stand alongside the children and teachers we serve in Uganda. Every opportunity to tell their stories helps more people understand both the tremendous need and the difference that can be made when we work together.
