Thanks to all the volunteers who came out to help yesterday! After 6 hours of work, we managed to fix up several of the beds, with structural repairs and new soil added to them. We also started planting! Many thanks to New corn crib greenhouse for generously donating lettuce and cabbage for us to plant 🥬

On May 1st at 1pm, we're planning on doing some garden maintenance to prepare for the season. We've confirmed that we'll be receiving a donation of top soil from the City of Poughkeepsie Department of Public Works which we will be adding to the beds to help facilitate crop growth. Time permitting, we'll also repair the structure of some of the beds that need it. Please come out and show off your green thumb if you have time!
