AHEPA Chapter #158 of Poughkeepsie, NY, is excited to invite you to our annual Cigar Night on Saturday, October 3rd, at the Poughkeepsie Hellenic Center (54 Park Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY)! Join us for an evening of fellowship, superb ci**rs, fine spirits, and outstanding food! Tickets are $75 per person and include two ci**rs, two drink tickets (plus a cash bar), and a buffet dinner.

A Summer Update from Chapter 158 - Scholarships & Golf Outing!

On AHEPA Sunday, AHEPA Chapter 158 recognized the achievements of high school graduates from the Greek community in Poughkeepsie. Five students were honored, and three Zinas “Zeke” Mavodones scholarships were awarded to Anna Anemelos, Taso Bakatsias, and Sophia Moustakas. Each received $750. Stephen J. Miller and Nike Mavodones Beaudry presented the awards with many chapter members in attendance.

In July, Chapter 158 held our annual golf outing at McCann Memorial Golf Course in Poughkeepsie. This past weekend, the chapter presented a check for $9,000 to Kimisis Greek Orthodox Church from the tournament's proceeds to support their ministry.

I am deeply honored and humbled that AHEPA Empire State District 6 has been recognized as the 2026 AHEPA District of the Year.

This award belongs to our entire District Lodge, every chapter, every chapter officer, and every Brother throughout District 6. Your dedication, leadership, hard work, and commitment to the mission of AHEPA made this recognition possible.

Thank you for strengthening our chapters, serving our communities, preserving Hellenism, and demonstrating the true meaning of brotherhood.
