At last weeks meeting our troop donated 91 boxes of cookies to the Potwin food pantry!

The girls had fun today while earning their Community Service Badge! Here are a few pictures of the girls painting the fire hydrants in Potwin.

Parents, as you know our troop still has about 180 boxes of cookies leftover from cookie sales. We would like to donate the cookies to the local food bank but we need to pay for them first. If any of you are able to donate money to help with the cost we would very much appreciate it.

We had a great time learning about rescuing animals with the ladies from Heartstring Animal Advocates during our meeting yesterday. After the meeting we went to the Potwin fire department where the girls got to check out the trucks and uniforms. We also talked about the girls community service project of painting the fire hydrants next Saturday. The fire department is happy and excited to have our scouts help out!

At tomorrow's meeting we plan on taking the girls for a hike through Potwin to the baseball diamonds and through some woods so they can earn their hiker badge. It looks like it might be a little rainy and chillier than today so make sure girls are wearing warm clothes and if they have raincoats or umbrellas send those along with them!

Saturday is our troop bowling trip! If your scout needs a ride please contact either Aubre or Megan ASAP!! If you are driving your scout let us know as well. We would like to get a good idea of how many of our girls will be there. Thank you!
