My heart is so full after last night! ❤️ A massive thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate my birthday bash. It was truly a night to remember.

The reigning, defending champion of the Preble Frog Pulls, Dru has been doing comedy in Philadelphia for over 6 years. Known from being a regular at Skankfest, or his appearances on Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast, Tuesdays with Stories, and Story Warz, along with his two hit podcasts, Durag and the Deertag and the prank call show, Digital Bazooka. Please welcome to the Die Laughing community our other dashing feature of the night - Matt Peoples!

Matt Peoples is what happens when you give a sharp mind, a loose filter, and a microphone to someone who absolutely should’ve been told “maybe don’t.” A regular at Helium Philly and Punch Line Philly, Matt has somehow convinced audiences across the city—and alarmingly, beyond—that his brand of quick, unpredictable comedy is exactly what they signed up for.

Known for his rapid-fire crowd work and a style that feels equal parts calculated and “this might go off the rails at any second,” Matt has opened for national headliners who, by the end of the weekend, are either big fans or slightly concerned. Either way, he gets asked back… which feels like poor judgment, but great for his career.

A rising comic in Philadelphia, Matt Peoples is carving out a name for himself by being unapologetically sharp, weirdly relatable, and just self-aware enough to make you question whether he’s in control the whole time. (He isn’t. But it’s more fun that way.) You REALLY should go follow him ✌️
