Mark your calendars for this special militia muster event "Independence Ignited!" as we celebrate 250 years of Independence. Step back into 1776, as Colonel Thomas Potts’s Associator Battalion takes the field! Witness reenactors in period uniforms as they drill, march, and prepare for battle. Explore the sights and sounds of a colonial militia encampment. Discover the local history of military mobilization during the early fight for our nation's independence. This immersive event brings the spirit of the Revolution to life, right here in Pottstown.

The Pottstown Regional Community Foundation is seeking a Marketing & Communications Summer Intern to support storytelling, social media, email communications, digital content, and community engagement.

This six-week, part-time internship is a great opportunity for a student or early-career professional interested in nonprofit marketing and communications.

• Approximately 15 hours per week
• Primarily in-office in Pottstown, PA
• $13/hour

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and selflessness have secured the freedoms we cherish so much.

On this Memorial Day, we pause in gratitude for those who gave their lives—and we hold close the families and loved ones who carry their legacy forward.

May we remember not just with words, but with appreciation, reflection, and a commitment to building a community worthy of their sacrifice.
