Straight Arrow Camp

...a private camp with a Christian emphasis. The camp was established and incorporated on April 23, 1953 as a non-profit and noncommercial organization.

Straight Arrow Camp is a non-profit Christian summer youth camp located on the shores of Lake Texoma in Pottsboro, Texas. Situated among 50 acres of beautiful trees and lakeshore on corps of engineer property, the camp hosts 200 campers between the ages of 7 and 17 each year. The staff at Straight Arrow Camp is entirely volunteer.

We are almost to our goal for rebuilding the pole barn!! We have submitted
a request to the Corps of Engineers and Miller is ready to begin as soon as
we can finish paying for the materials. We just need a couple of thousand
dollars more to have enough to start. Please pray about helping us
complete the fundraising for this project if you possibly can. I know God
will bless you for your generosity. Thanks to all those who have given so
far and those who will help us reach our goal!

Camp Straight Arrow lost another great friend this week. Rick Cobo Sr. went home to
be with Jesus this week and we will miss him greatly. You may not have known him but
if you have ever been to camp and visited the Hogan you know his work. Peace and
comfort be with your family Rick I know God is happy to have you home with Him!

CAMP NEEDS YOUR HELP! 🚨
We are still raising money to help rebuild our camp pole barn that holds all of our watercraft and other equipment we use to take care of camp. We currently have raised $7,500 of the $20,000 needed for this build. We are hoping to raise all the money needed by the end of August. Please pray about it and consider donating to camp. What a great wrap to a great camp season. Thank you for all of our volunteers who came to make camp special and serve the Lord. We had such a great group of campers this year we could not be more grateful!

Jr. Boys comes to an end and girls week starts on Monday. The boys had a great week and we can’t wait to see them next year. Another set of pictures will post tomorrow as well.
