TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language)

My TESL degree has opened doors for ministry in ways I never imagined. I’ve taught English on the mission field in Honduras, on short-term mission trips, and in ESL settings across the United States. I’ve also helped launch ESL ministries in Central Florida and currently teach English through our church and the public adult education system.

Beyond my major, the strong foundation in Bible and Theology at Davis continues to shape how I teach, mentor, and communicate, whether I’m leading children’s ministry, walking alongside young adults, or using my voice online for Christ.

Today, my husband Luke (Class of 2016) and I serve part-time with Children's Bible Ministries, coordinating and leading mission trips that connect believers to what God is doing around the world.

Going through some old audio cassettes of chapels, graduations, and alumni retreats and came across this message from Dr. Woodrow Kroll. It is from October 3, 2000, during the centennial celebration of the school. The message was entitled "Principles of Effective Preaching." The audio cuts off before the end of the sermon. Enjoy this gem from the past.
