Greater Newark LifeCamp

Greater Newark LifeCamp LifeCamp is a summer day camp in rural Pottersville, New Jersey serving an average of 300 children ages 6 – 13, from Newark each summer.

LifeCamp maintains a staff-to-camper ratio of 1 to 7, prepares meals on site, offers a rich and varied curriculum, and has beautifully maintained buildings and grounds. The overall environment allows our campers to feel special in the most positive way. Many of our campers attend LifeCamp for multiple weeks and for years to follow. Approximately one-third of LifeCamp’s current staff is comprised o

f former campers, who have embraced the values that we have been encouraging at LifeCamp. With a fierce loyalty to the program, these former campers are excellent role models for today’s campers. Repeated exposure to the philosophy, staff, experiences and programs at LifeCamp, provide these children with a solid foundation to successfully manage the many challenges that they will face.
