Record books are due today, 10/23/2025. Please stop by the PV school offices to have them signed by a leader. They will also need to be dropped off at the county office today, 10/23/2025 if you want them judged at the county level.

If you are not having them judged then please drop them off with either Danelle, Joleen or Nora for club review. Please reach out to one of us if you have questions.

Tomorrow is the last day to sign up, pay your dues in order to be eligible to show a market animal at the Redwood Empire Fair! Don't wait any longer!

Tomorrow evening, October 6th at 7pm will be our first chapter meeting of the new 4-H year! The meeting will be held in the Potter Valley High School Library!

In order to be eligible to take a market animal to the Redwood Empire Fair 2026 your youth member needs to be registered and paid for no later than October 15, 2025.

Reminder that if you plan on showing at the Mendocino County Fair next weekend you need to be fully enrolled and fee's paid.

All enrollment fees will remain the same from the previous program year.

National 4-H Week is coming up soon! Beyond Ready is the theme, celebrating how 4-H youth develop skills for future success.

Think about how you will share 4-H with you friends, family and community. Maybe you can share 4-H with your classroom, create a 4-H display for a business window or "wear green" on October 6th. All week long you can share your 4-H experiences as a current 4-H'er or alumni.

4-H record books are a means to record your projects, develop skills and potentially earn sparks and stars for your 4-H hat.

Now is the time to be completing your record book for the 24-25 year. Members who have not earned a silver star in previous years should be using the new achievement forms.

To exhibit at the Apple Fair, you will need to enroll for the 25-26 4-H year. This applies to the leaders as well.

Members are aged 5-18 as of December 31, 2025.
