Local fraternity Phi Delta was recognized by Clarkson's Inter-fraternity Council on March 20, 1960. They purchased 74 Elm from Zeta Nu Fraternity several months later. On April 28, 1963 the brothers became the Iota Kappa chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon (Teke).

In 2005 they became Delta Tau Tau Fraternity and in 2013 a new Tau Kappa Epsilon at Clarkson colony was founded at Clarkson, with national giving it the Iota Kappa chapter name.
