Potosi-Tennyson Area Chamber of Commerce Nestled beside the scenic Mississippi River, on the Great River Road, the Potosi & Tennyson Community was founded on mining and farming. Welcome!

With tourist destinations, excellent schools, and small town values, it is a great place to live and visit. The villages of Potosi & Tennyson are located in beautiful Grant County, situated on the Great River Road in Southwest Wisconsin, on the Mississippi River and bordering Iowa and Illinois. The World’s Longest Main Street, without an intersecting cross road, winds its’ way through the village of Potosi. On your way, stop at The Passage Thru Time Museum, The Potosi Brewing Company and National American Breweriana Museum, see the Worlds largest B**r Can. Then visit Potosi Recreation Area (Potosi Point), where you can experience the wildness of the Mississippi River. A viewing platform is planned that will make it feel like you are right out onto the river! If you are looking for lead mining history, camping, hunting, fishing, canoeing, tubing, snowmobiling, or just a relaxing place to visit or stay, “The Catfish Capital of Wisconsin” is the place to be.

We received a new rotation of large print books from the Southwest Library System. To find these books in the online catalog, use the advanced search feature. Scroll down to the Filters section and select Material Type. Then scroll down and select LTE Rotating 4 in the middle column. Click on the Search 46 Records in lower right corner. If you click on the book icon, you will find information about the book.
We will have this collection about 2 months. These can NOT be reserved online. Let me know if you want something set aside for you, or come in and select a book off the shelf.
