Attention in the pits!!!
We will be finalizing our order for awards fornthe Fall Finale some time in the next few days...

There will be a Vintage 2wd class again, as well as both Sportsman and Expert classes for E-Buggy...
The question for you all, who is coming and going to bring a Nitro Truggy?!? We had just enough yesterday for them to run their own main, and I would love to see a few more come out to finish off this season in Potlatch... please comment below if you will be coming , and if you would bring a Nitro Truggy along if they have their own race class...if we get at least 5 or 6 confirmed we will add Nitro Truggy to the list of classes and awards...

Thanks again to all of the racers that come out to support the track in Potlatch! Amazing turnout considering all of the other racing happeming this month!
Here are the podium pictures from yesterday! Congrats to all of you, podium drivers and racers in any finishing position, it was a fun day and it is because all of you that come race that we are able to have so much good fun! Looking forward to Fall Finale next month, stay tuned for info and posts about that!!! Summer Sizzle was fully sent!

Attention in the pits!!!
We need some help from the masses!

With days being a bit shorter, and a 1 day event, we have decided the format will have only 3 rounds next weekend... the question for you all is this...
2 quals and a single main, similar to many club race formats, something we have not done in Potlatch for a long time.... OR... 3 rounds of heads up racing, random grid round one, with re-sorts for the 2nd and 3rd rounds, as we did for Warmup in May?

We are also doing something a bit different for awards , instead of the usual plaques type of thing.

Potlatch Pro-Am podium pictures....
These had been posted at one point, or that had been attempted. Just informed by a racer that they couldnt find Podium Pictures from the Potlatch Pro-Am, and it appears they aren't on FB , so, false start on that and here goes attempt number two... in less than 5....

Thank you to Dan Stone for sending us this link... here is a video on YouTube of the Dual Drivers race at Potlatch Pro-Am during the Saturday evening Shenanigans... good fun and lots of laughs were happening Saturday after quals. We cant wait for some more Shenanigans after quals for Fall Finale weekend in September.
Also, thanks to all of the racers who came and helped make this event awesome!

No words can describe how thankful we are for the continued support of our local racing community, and their families...as well as the support of the City of Potlatch and the community around here that help us be able to have a track in beautiful Scenic 6 Park... such a beautiful place to have races at!
This track and the race events there also wouldn't be possible without our raffles and the contributions to it over the years from various PNW hobby shops and companies, RC companies from all over, and for this particular event, raffle support from AMain Hobbies and their ProTek RC and Team Cayote brands! Hopefully winners of those raffle items will include that in their race reports and posts, and tag them as well.
Other brands or companies that have helped over the years, and I am surely gonna forget a few... Team Tekin Racing , In Control Hobbies , HRCR , PR Racing USA , HoBao Racing Inc/Hobao-usa.com, Tekno RC , 1Army , Factory Works RC, Joe @ Nexlevel , and others...
We didn't get pictures of the actual raffle taking place this time, but do have pictures of the newest batch of banners, giving the area under the stand some much needed shade... they are well represented on all sides of the stand and track, and given that Potlatch is kinda out in the sticks, Amain is one of the "local" hobby shops for many of our racers.
If anyone snagged action shots this weekend, and Amain/Protek banners are in the background...please drop them in the comments so Troy can snag them if he wants...

Some great fun being had at the Potlatch Pro-Am this weekend! Qual day was epic, with LOTS of non-RC racing people from the park checking it out... and then Shenanigans to end the day.
Here are the podium pictures from the Jr's race, and the tandem drivers race.... good fun and LOTS of laughs.
Should be an amazing mains day on Sunday, starting at 9am.....send it!!!
