Today we got to watch the Poteet Aggie Jazz Band play at La Coste City Hotel. Band Instructor James Quinteto is dedicated to these students, and it shows. Y'all did an amazing job!!

We got a surprise appreciation. Students participating in the multi-school district Special Olympics Bulldogs Relay hosted by Somerset ISD showed their love of the Poteet Lions Club in the support we give in their annual event 💙 🦁

Today the Poteet Lions Club gave a monetary donation to the Leming Volunteer Fire Department in the amount of $10,000 for their continued support and hard work they dedicate each year to our organization during the Poteet Strawberry Festival. Thank you for all you do 🍓🦁💙

The Poteet Strawberry Festival is one of our community's biggest fundraisers for many nonprofit organizations, and although attendance isn't what we expected, the weather didn't deter us from trying to make the 79th Poteet Strawberry Festival a successful, fun and welcoming event. Thank you all for continuing to support the Poteet Lions Club and Leming Volunteer Fire Department during this annual event. We make the best of what we can, and as always, we look forward to next year!
