We’re excited to share that we are now officially partnering with the San Antonio Food Bank!

This is a huge step forward for our ministry and for the families we serve. Through this partnership we will be able to better support our community with greater resources.

At CAM, our heart has always been to serve, this just allows us to do it even better.

REMINDER: WE ARE CLOSED TODAY

We will be in San Antonio working behind the scenes to better serve our community. We’re excited to bring back what we’ve learned and continue improving the way we support those in need.

Hello CAM family!! We want to share a quick update with our community.

Today, our staff attended a training class with the San Antonio Food Bank as part of a required Tuesday orientation. Once these trainings are complete, we will be eligible to offer additional emergency resources through SAFB for our neighbors here in Poteet!!

We do apologize that we were not able to share this update sooner and for any inconvenience caused by the store being closed today.

We will also be attending this required training for the next two Tuesdays.

We will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Serving our community is at the heart of what we do at Christian Assistance Ministry.

As we closed out our week we were reminded again why this mission matters.

This week we were able to help a family of four by providing clothing for their two children along with an emergency pantry box. Moments like this remind us that every donation, every volunteer hour, and every purchase made in our thrift store helps make a real difference for families in our community.

We are extremely grateful for the churches, individuals, and service groups who continue to support this ministry. We are grateful to you who come in and shop and those of you who bring in donations. By giving back Your generosity allows us to serve others with compassion and care.

If you or someone you know is in need of assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to help.

Our thrift store is also open to the public for shopping, and every purchase supports the work we are doing in the community.
