We would love to see everyone at Old Timers Day! Come out eat and have fun with our community. We will have dunk tank so you can dunk a fire fighter and silent auction with a lot of good items. There will be good food and good family fun. We can not wait to see and visit with everyone!

Thank you to everyone that came out to our first annual Monroe Fire Department Easter egg hunt!! We want to thank Monroe First Baptist Church for the help also! We had a great turn out and had a great time with our community.
We would like to give a big thanks to Pj’s Country Store- Paul LaRosa, Wann Ranch- DannyandElizabeth Wann, Poteau Walmart, and R&R Trucking and Excavating- Rick Wann for their generous donations for our prizes.

The Monroe fire department with the sheriffs department, & EMS responded to a swift water rescue today. The rescue was a success without injuries. We are happy with this outcome that they could reunite with her family.
But sometimes people don’t get so lucky. With that being said for your safety and ours , please do not cross when water is running over the road.
Turn around don’t drown.

Tickets can be purchsed from a Monroe firefighter, or at the Monroe water dept. The drawing will be NOV 1st at Monroe schools fall festival.
