Don't forget – the OKFB Women's Leadership Committee's 2026 Nurse's Scholarship application is now available through July 10! 🩺

The annual scholarship program awards three $500 scholarships to students studying in a nursing program at an accredited college, university, vo-tech or trade school. The WLC understands the important role nurses and health care professionals play in ensuring a high quality life for all residents across our state, and especially rural residents.

Space is filling up fast for our 2026 FFA Communication Conference, which will be held Monday, July 13 in Edmond! This electrifying, one-day conference helps FFA members learn how they can share the FFA story throughout the upcoming school year along with the importance of communicating our story as advocates for agriculture. Registration details and instructions have been emailed to agricultural education instructors around the state, who can register students online. We hope to see your chapter in Edmond this July at our FFA Communications Conference!

New World screwworm has been confirmed in Texas, making awareness and early detection more important than ever for livestock owners, veterinarians and animal health professionals.

The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry is monitoring the situation and has information available for Oklahoma producers.

Leflore County Farm Bureau is proud to have been represented at the American Farm Bureau Federation ACE Summit in Washington, D.C. by Cyndi Mackey, District 5 State Representative on the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee.

She attended alongside Jacey Fye, District 4 OKFB Women’s Leadership Committee State Representative, Mignon Bolay, OKFB Women’s Leadership Committer Chair, Megan Knight, OKFB Women’s Leadership Committer Coordinator, Holly Carroll, Director of Membership and OKFB Foundation, and OKFB Foundation Intern Rylee Glazier.
