Postville Youth Summer Rec Games are happening this week, and we’re excited for a fun few days of activities and competition for the kids! We are still in need of volunteers and paid umps to help make everything run smoothly. We especially need help with: Umps and concession stand volunteers.

Tuesday May 26:

-6/7 Baseball Home vs MFL Blue: 6 pm. 2 umps needed and 2 concession stand workers.

Wednesday May 27:
-2/3 Softball Home vs Harpers Ferry 6pm. No workers needed.

-5/6/7 Softball Home vs Harpers Ferry 6pm. 2 umps needed and 2 concession stand workers.

Friday May 29:
-2/3 Softball Home vs Clayton Ridge Green. No workers needed.

-5/6/7 Softball Home vs SW 6pm. 2 umps needed and 2 concession stand workers.

‼️Please share‼️ Help us find 4/5 coach for the season!
4/5 Boys Baseball Coach Needed

Parents and Postville Community,

We are still in need of a coach for 4/5 Baseball. We have one parent that is willing to help when able but can not do it alone. A few more insights of what the board is looking for:
-practice 1 or 2x per week
-we still need to schedule a few games. More than likely, we should be able to get 3 to 5 games.
-Field might not be available until 7pm for practice. Scheduling will have to work around when the City Field is available.
-Season is typically over towards the end of June and before the 4th of July.

This coach does not have to be a parent, it can be a community member or someone you know that would be a good fit and interested in helping out.

Please reach out to anyone on the board or Melanie at the Wellness by Thursday, May 14. We do not want to cancel their season, but are running out of options to make this work for their team to continue on. We would really like to find someone so they can get practice started.

Thank you to everyone that helped clean up the Postville city field and Castalia city field for the upcoming summer rec season!

It is very much appreciated and the youth are now ready to play ball!
