At this time the Postville Food Pantry is overwhelmed with donations. We appreciate your kindness and generosity. We suggest that at this time you support our neighboring pantries: Waukon, Decorah, Lansing, Calmar, Guttenberg, West Union, and St. Olaf. They also serve Postville families.

Here are some stats for July 28 to August 28:
408 children, 504 adults, and 58 seniors received food.
We distributed 17,565 # of food. All of this was made possible by support from this community and others around us. Our goal, as we move back to once-a-week distribution, is to distribute even more food. Look for cooking oil, pancake mix and oatmeal in the coming weeks. We're going to have pork tenderloins and fish next week.

We will be open from 9-noon on August 21 and 28. Volunteers, please park either on the west side of our building or in the regular parking lot at the side near the other large white building. We realize parking is limited, but we want to free up space for our "customers".

We have been blessed with monetary donations, garden produce and other food. Yesterday we served 79 families. There definitely was a need for our extra distribution day. It would not have been possible without the help of many volunteers, both new and regulars. We will continue the Friday distribution through the end of August.
