It's Fair week! Members of our Lake City Harmonizers are taking our turns in the information booth at the North Idaho State Fair, something we've done for many years. We are honored to be named the Volunteer Group of the Year for 2026! Our thanks to the Fair and our local community for this honor!

The Harmonizers were very happy to help celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the Kootenai County Courthouse!

The community got a glimpse of the past and looked to the future Friday afternoon when the contents of a time capsule that had remained hidden for 100 years within a wall of the old Kootenai County courthouse were revealed.

Yesterday we were honored to sing at the Coeur d'Alene Courthouse ceremony to celebrate our Nation's 250th birthday and also the Courthouse's100th birthday!

What a fantastic weekend for the Lake City Harmonizers Chorus! 🎶

Two weeks ago, we had the pleasure of competing in the Barbershop Harmony Society’s Evergreen District Division 3 Contest, where we reunited with friends and fellow singers from across the district, and our division. It was a wonderful time filled with music, camaraderie, and shared passion for harmony.

We are thrilled to share that we placed 3rd in our division and saw a huge improvement in our scores—jumping from an average of 51.6 to 66.3! 📈

We are incredibly proud of our performance and the progress we’ve made together. Moments like these remind us why we love what we do and inspire us to keep striving for excellence.

A big thank you to our coach, Jay Krumbholz, for his dedication, guidance, and support in helping us refine our sound and grow as a chorus. We are so grateful!

Here’s to continuing the journey and sharing the joy of barbershop harmony with our community! 💙

Saturday April 18th:
8:30-10:00am – Registration at Spokane Falls CC Music Bldg

9:00 AM: Chorus Contest Call
9:30 AM: Downbeat
Chorus evaluations will follow immediately after the contest in the SFCC Music Building.

QUARTET CONTESTS – SATURDAY AFTERNOON
12:30 PM: Prelims and Division III Quartets – 1st Round
Quartet Finals will commence 20 minutes following quartets scoring 75 or higher.
A dinner break will follow the finals.
8:00 PM: Quartet Evaluations will begin at Hampton Inn. All activities will finish

Friday Xtra: Harmony Platoon Reunion at Division III Contest‼️
👉Location: Hampton Inn Breakfast Room (near Registration)
➡️Time: Friday, April 17, at 7:00 pm until about 8:30ish (Hotel quiet time is 9:00 pm)
