Lake City Harmonizers

Directions

Lake City Harmonizers The Lake City Harmonizers, the Coeur d'Alene Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

We are a nonprofit chorus of men and women who love to sing, focusing on the barbershop style. Barbershop (4 part a capella harmony with lots of major seventh chords) is best exemplified by quartets, but the style can still be well presented by the many international choruses of singers. Our director, Bianca Marie Dixon, is dynamically improving our singing and intent on attracting new singers to try us out. We invite singers of any ability to visit us on any Tuesday at the Bell Tower, east of Post Falls Walmart, from 7 to 9 pm. You will receive free singing lessons, and we hope you will love the music and comradery enough to return.

Many thanks to all who donated and gave freely of their time and beautiful voices.

Can you feel the love tonight? ❤️🎶
Five Inland Northwest area barbershop choruses and five quartets each shared their music tonight, then joined together for the finale, “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” in support of the Moyer family. What a beautiful evening of harmony, love and community!

Couldn’t make it but would still like to help? You can donate here: https://www.givesendgo.com/moyer-family-fire-recovery

It's Fair week! Members of our Lake City Harmonizers are taking our turns in the information booth at the North Idaho State Fair, something we've done for many years. We are honored to be named the Volunteer Group of the Year for 2026! Our thanks to the Fair and our local community for this honor!

The Harmonizers were very happy to help celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the Kootenai County Courthouse!

Check out the Coeur d’Alene Press article where the Harmonizers get a pic and a mention! 😁.

The community got a glimpse of the past and looked to the future Friday afternoon when the contents of a time capsule that had remained hidden for 100 years within a wall of the old Kootenai County courthouse were revealed.
