The first food deliveries have made it to the island of Siargao. These efforts are coordinated by so many good people volunteering their time and effort. This is a wonderful candid photo of the Branch President of the local Siargao congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints placing phone calls to coordinate the first relief efforts from the LDS Church to the people of Siargao; the first relief effort to make it to the island (even before the government of the Philippines).

We are immensely grateful for the effort and organization of these good people. Many families are benefiting from this humanitarian aid. Members and non-members alike.

Donations from your fundraising efforts have also been received yesterday onto the island and supplies are being purchased today and will also be distributed in the days to come. Please continue your prayers for the ongoing efforts to bring relief.
