Mercy Drops Dream Center We are all about finding the Forgotten, helping them build a Foundation, so they can Flourish in life! We do this by finding a need and filling it.

Mercy Drops Dream Center is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization that is based in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia. Our mission is to build lasting relationships within the community that bring hope alive. We connect those that are in need of resources with those that have the resources to fill the needs of our community. We believe that every person, regardless of age, race, or circumstance

deserves to dream and that the impossible can happen. Currently, we are in the community 6 days a week bringing hope alive through our outreaches, programs, and events. Join us June 20th for an evening of community, food, fun, and impact at our Luau for a Cause ☀️ Tickets are available now, and we still have sponsorship opportunities open for businesses and organizations!

💚 Every ticket, sponsorship, volunteer hour, and donation helps to support outreach, Adopt-A-Block, pantry support, and community care throughout Portsmouth.

☀️ Summer Kickoff 2026 is coming up on June 20th! Tickets are now available, and sponsorship opportunities remain open to businesses, organizations, and community partners who want to support the mission of Mercy Drops Dream Center.

🌍 Tomorrow - Saturday, May 30th - is our special 5th Saturday Adopt-A-Block outreach! We’ll be serving additional locations across Portsmouth from 9:00–11:30am as we continue loving and supporting our community in practical ways.

DYK Mercy Drops Dream Center serves 6 Adopt-A-Block sites up to 4x each month? Each neighborhood is located in Portsmouth, Virginia where residents experience neglect or are marginalized by the larger community.

Our Adopt-A-Block programs are where volunteers personify hope in action.
We find the forgotten, help them build a foundation so they can flourish in life.
And by flourish, we mean in every area - including physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

It’s the people like you who help every member of our community feel seen.

Looking for a way to get involved this week? 💚

We have several opportunities throughout the week to serve our neighbors, encourage our community, and help meet practical needs across Portsmouth.

From weekday outreach opportunities to this Saturday’s special 5th Saturday Adopt-A-Block sites, there are plenty of ways to jump in — whether you’re serving for the first time or you’ve been with us for years.

✨5th Saturday Adopt-A-Block Locations:
• Downtown Portsmouth
• Emily Green Nursing Home
• Safety Town

No special skills required. No pressure to “have it all figured out.” Just a willingness to show up and love people well.
