Second year Vet Tech students participated in a local Trap, Neuter, Release clinic this morning to practice some essential skills during their summer clinical!

TNR clinics are extremely important for population control and improved welfare. They humanely trap feral or stray cats, provide spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations and post-op care, and return them to their outdoor colonies, effectively halting the breeding cycle while improving their quality of life. 🐈‍⬛💙🐾

The club recently had a very successful Take A Paws event thanks to the Therapy Dogs who came to visit and their amazing handlers! This was our second year in a row hosting this event before finals to try to relieve some of the stress that comes along with the end of the semester. Thank you so much for everyone who stopped by to say hi and steal some puppy love! 🐾💙
