The Rotary Club of Portsmouth is an organization of business and professional leaders united to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. In more than 160 countries worldwide, approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 30,000 Rotary clubs. The Portsmouth Rotary Club's membership represents a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women. Rotary of Portsmouth is proud to be a long standing supporter of the Summer Reading Program at the Scioto County Public Library. Literacy is one of our major initiatives.

Our Summer Reading 2026 numbers are in, and we had an increase in library visits, summer reading finishers, programs offered, and program attendance! We are already looking forward to next summer. Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's program and for always supporting the library!
