Seawall Art Show Portsmouth Virginia The best art show in Hampton Roads. The proceeds from the show benefit City of Portsmouth, Virginia museums. Artists will vie for $7000 in awards.

If you want to find that one-of-a-kind gift for someone special, then downtown Portsmouth is the place to be August 27 and 28. Visit on High Street between Crawford and Court for the 50th anniversary of Seawall Art Show, with some 75 juried artists. As in previous years, expect to find a little of everything, from wood carving to oil paintings, handwoven clothing to art glass, fine jewelry to pott

ery, and more. Admission to the show is free, as are street and garage parking during the weekend. Aside from works for sale by nearly 75 artists, the show also features a student art show and entertainment both days. The show is run by volunteers.
