🎄Portsmouth Area Jaycees Christmas Parade🎄

Join us for the 87th Annual Portsmouth Area Jaycees Christmas Parade on December 3rd, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The parade will proceed north on Waller Street, west on Galli Street, and then transition to Fifth Street, concluding in the parking lot at Valley Wholesale Foods on Market Street.

Following the parade, don't miss the tree lighting ceremony at Winterfest, along with a meet and greet with Santa Claus!

The registration deadline is Thanksgiving Day. To register, please click the link below. Parade lineup will begin at 5:00 PM in the Shawnee State University parking lot.

The Portsmouth Area Jaycees 60th Anniversary Trout Derby was an incredible success!We want to congratulate our winners!

We’d like to thank to Donnie Martin Heating and Cooling for sponsoring our first and second place prizes! Our first place winner, Stephen Neal, went home today with a brand-new kayak, while our second place winner, Ethan Morgan, received an Igloo cooler. We also want to thank the Scioto Ribber for sponsoring our third place prize, a $100 Ribber gift card.

Both Stephen Neal and Jacob Neal are pictured below with their grandfather, Clinton Neal, and members of the Portsmouth Area Jaycees, with Stephen’s new kayak. Clinton Neal has been fishing in the Trout Derby for over 40 years!
