Street sweeping is scheduled June 8 - June 12 in multiple Portsmouth neighborhoods.
For optimal cleaning, please remove vehicles from the street by 7 a.m. On-street parking may resume at 4 p.m. Streets will not be swept on normal trash collection days.

Sweepers sweepers man your brooms! Street Sweeping will happen in Shea Terrace next week. Please park vehicles in driveways as much as possible next week to allow the trucks to do their very important jobs!

Tired of the evening knocks at the door 😅? Consider posting a "No Soliciting" sign. Solicitors in the state of Virginia are prohibited from approaching homes displaying these signs. Have a good weekend all!

The event is officially on, and we are ready for a fantastic day of finding new treasures and catching up with everyone.

Yard Sale Update: Rain Date Confirmed! 🌧️➡️☀️
Hey neighbors,

Due to the forecast for tomorrow, we are officially moving the Shea Terrace Neighborhood Yard Sale to our scheduled rain date: Saturday, May 9th.

We want to make sure everyone has a dry, successful day of selling (and shopping!), so pack up those treasures for one more week. We’ll see you next Saturday, May 9th, starting bright and early!

Important Note: You are still more than welcome to host your own yard sale tomorrow if you’d like to brave the weather, but please be aware that you do so at your own risk. The Civic League will not be handing out the official sale maps until the rescheduled date of May 9th.

⚠️ YARD SALE UPDATE: RAIN DATE ADDED ☔️

Hi Shea Terrace! We are keeping a close eye on the weather forecast for May 2nd. While we are still hoping for clear skies for our yard sales, we want to be prepared!

We have added a confirmed RAIN DATE of Saturday, MAY 9TH! If we have to postpone due to weather, we will post an update right here on the hub. If you have already registered for the map, your information will be included for whichever day we end up hosting. Stay tuned and fingers crossed for sunshine! ☀️
