Ohio voters do not have to wait until Election Day to cast their ballots in the Nov. 3 general election. Early in-person voting begins Tuesday, Oct. 6, one day after Ohio’s voter-registration deadline. It continues through Sunday, Nov. 1.

That provides 22 days of in-person voting during a 27-day period. There is no early in-person voting Monday, Nov. 2. Voters who wait until Election Day must use their assigned polling location.

Registered voters must vote early in the county where they are registered. Each Ohio county operates an early-voting center, generally at or near its board of elections office. You can see all of the early vote centers at the Ohio Secretary of State's website.

The Ohio Secretary of State has established the following statewide in-person Early Vote schedule:
• Tuesday, Oct. 6-Friday, Oct. 9: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Monday, Oct. 12-Friday, Oct. 16: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Monday, Oct. 19-Friday, Oct. 23: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 24: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
• Monday, Oct. 26: 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Oct. 27: 7:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, Oct. 28-Friday, Oct. 30: 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 31: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
• Sunday, Nov. 1: 1-5 p.m.
• Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

The Office of the Ohio Secretary of State helps Ohioans pursue the American dream of participating in democracy and building a business.

A huge thank you to Amy Hamm and Sharon Thayer from Shawnee Family Health Center for joining us last night!
Our members completed a highly impactful session, learning the 3 critical steps of QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) and becoming more informed about the resources available when someone needs help. We truly appreciate the time, expertise, and dedication Amy and Sharon bring to this life-saving work.
We are incredibly proud of everyone who came out to participate. By showing up, you took a massive step toward breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and learned practical ways to better look out for each other on and off the jobsite.
If you couldn't make it to the training, Amy and Sharon left plenty of resources, information, and handouts at the hall. Please stop by and grab some if you are interested!

We had a great time this past Saturday at the Jackson Apple Festival Parade! 🍎

Several of our members took time out of their weekend to walk alongside Amy Acton, candidate for Ohio Governor, and show their support for a strong voice for working families.

Amy has earned the endorsement of the IBEW, along with many other labor unions and the Ohio AFL-CIO.

A big thank you to everyone who came out and represented IBEW Local 575. It’s always great to see our members showing up, getting involved, and standing together for working people!
