We’ve got a lot going on throughout the rest of the week.

9-4-2026 Union Meeting we will be voting on the purchase of property.

We have vip passes available for the River Days festival. These are for members and retirees.

9-5-2026 Labor Day parade and cookout. The city begins closing the streets down at 10:30 am. We will be having 2 floats in the parade this year. One for the apprenticeship and one for the local union. We are asking for volunteers to help walk or ride in the parade and help with the cookout.

Later that evening we will also have 15 tickets available for the dirt track race at Portsmouth Raceway Park. Again these are for members and retirees and will be distributed at the union meeting Friday night.

We have 6 tickets available for the 2026 farm to table dinner that will take place at 6:00 pm on Thursday August 27th. This will be held at the McNew Center at the Holy Redeemer Church in Portsmouth, OH. If you are interested in attending please call the union hall.

We had a great time at the Route 23 Family Festival this past Saturday! We are always willing to support our community and grateful for the opportunity to build relationships with our customers.

This gave us a great opportunity to interact with them and to share the opportunities that are available. Whether you’re just looking to get started in the electrical trade or if you’re someone who is currently working in the trade and want to make a change.

Thank you to everyone who came out for our annual IBEW Local 575 Picnic! It was great seeing so many of our members, retirees, and families enjoying the day together.

A special thank you to our staff who spent months planning and preparing to make today possible, and to the members who showed up to help with setup today. Your hard work is greatly appreciated! We also want to thank our business partners for their donations of door prizes!
